John Cook, a CRA Managing Director and leadership coach, advises senior and emerging leaders in the Pharmaceutical, Utility, and Financial Services industries. John’s client work focuses on developing leadership talent and coaching to the behaviors that build the long-term relationship and communication skills essential to getting things done. He regularly counsels his clients on critical decisions involving leadership communication, style, performance management, and leading upward. John’s representative clients include American Water, Ivy Asset Management, Johnson & Johnson, Merrill Lynch, Merck, PricewaterhouseCoopers, SEI Investments, and Titan Capital Group.
Prior to joining CRA, John was director of custom executive leadership development programs at the Villanova School of Business. Preceding Villanova, he spent ten years with Deloitte & Touche culminating in national marketing and business planning roles. John began his career at Harvard University in the Office for Information Technology.
John is a graduate of an accredited coach training program and holds an Executive MBA degree from Villanova University. He is also a classically trained musician with diplomas from The Academy of Vocal Arts and Boston University.
A native of Central Pennsylvania, John is an accomplished opera singer, whose passions include saltwater fly fishing and boating with his wife and children.
