Michelle McDermott is a communication strategist for a wide range of organizations, including ComEd, FMC, and TEKsystems. She has expertise in leading change communication for strategic initiatives and transformations, building leadership communication competency, and improving organizational communication processes.
Before joining CRA, Ms. McDermott led change management for merger integration efforts, shared services transformations, and other business and technology changes while consulting with Andersen Business Consulting in Philadelphia, PA, Ms. McDermott earned a B.A. in Journalism from Pennsylvania State University’s Scholars Program. She then attended Arizona State University, where she earned an M.A. in Organizational Communication, taught undergraduate communication classes, and conducted research on symbolic communication in the workplace.
Ms. McDermott enjoys playing tennis, cooking, and spending time with her husband and three children.
