Carolynne Bernard consults a variety of Fortune 500 and healthcare organizations, including Merrill Lynch, McDonald’s Corp., University Hospitals, TGI Friday’s, PepsiCo, State Farm Insurance Companies, and Catholic Health Initiatives. Her consultation with these organizations has focused on working with senior executive teams to communicate corporate strategy and strategic change initiatives and working with communication leaders to redesign their organizational communication functions. Carolynne is also experienced at developing “critical event” communication strategies for lay-offs, outsourcing, and transformations.
Carolynne received degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Communication Science and Women’s Studies. Her education focused on persuasive intent, interpersonal interactions, and gender differences in communication. Prior to joining CRA, Carolynne conducted research for the Human Genome Project that focused on the communication styles of genetic counselors.
