Talent

CRA’s Talent Practice helps clients solve their strategic communication staffing problems.

Talent

CRA possesses a unique perspective on communication talent at all levels. This perspective, when matched with our deep knowledge of how organizations work and our extensive personal relationships with blue-chip communication talent, puts us in a unique position to identify the most talented professional for a particular role and culture.

Ours is a panel-based process, in which a search is led by a single CRA Managing Director, backed by a panel of CRA colleagues who have context particular to that role, and whenever possible, for the hiring client and organization. That panel is involved in identifying and screening candidates, ensuring we present those who have not only the right ability for the role, but who will fit the client’s culture and business, as well.

In doing so, we help clients with:

  • Comprehensive Search and Placement: Using our extensive network of professionals and executives, CRA performs custom, and if appropriate, confidential talent searches to identify, qualify, and present communication professionals who fit a particular role based on both their skills and their fit to the organization.
  • Resume Review: We work with clients who wish to conduct their own search process by reviewing, qualifying, and extensively filtering their existing pool of candidates’ resumes to identify the best fit for the position.
  • Hiring Counsel: For nearly two decades, our Consulting Practice has been helping clients design and staff their communication functions. With this experience as a foundation, our Talent Practice advises clients on the communication professionals they should hire based on their business needs. This includes coaching clients about their current team skills vs. needed capabilities; helping them design their communication organization, including counsel on key competencies for which they should hire; and advising them on how to determine, define, and match their communication team requirements to meet business objectives.
